I have a friend that can not leave dirty dishes in her kitchen. She will not go to bed until her kitchen is beautiful. What a wonderful thing to wake up to! And yet, for some reason I can't get that same uneasiness about leaving a dirty kitchen. It is more of a "have to" chore. I know that means I should train my children to clean the kitchen, but even that sounds like a big chore...another chore for the mommy. At the end of the evening, everyone scatters and mommy does dishes. Not my ideal, but it is.
